Trust Is At An Inflection Point
People once introduced each other, vouched for each other, and hired each other based on interactions in the neighborhood, at school, and at work. Now, we interact online with people we've never met. Without common experiences, how do we know who to trust?
That question becomes even less clear when we use online resources to set up in person encounters. How complete is that online dating profile? Job board posting? How reliable is the person who wants to rent my home?
We're building tools to help build trust. And, in the process, we're building a great company.
We are more than the work that we do or the products that we make. Every day, we define and refine ourselves by the decisions we make and the conversations we have, which are rooted in our beliefs about the world and the people we want to be. These beliefs—our core values—are the foundation of our company, the reason we show up focused and motivated as a team.
