Senior Content Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Defining Content Acquisition objectives to increase the quality and quantity of content on Archives.com and other Inflection websites
- Managing, coaching, and expanding our team of content acquisition professionals
- Developing and enhancing tools and processes to make our content acquisitionists, including yourself, more effective
- Negotiating and closing major content partnerships and licenses
- Developing very strong relationships with our most important content partners
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree. Masters or PHD a plus.
- 8+ years of work experience in or around content acquisition
- 3+ years of management experience leading a team of at least 2-3
- A very clear thinker who is good at prioritizing and is comfortable with quantitative analysis
- An excellent oral and written communicator
- Proactive, self-directed, and able to create and prioritize work for others
- Superior follow-through and follow-up skills
- Entrepreneurial
- Strong understanding of human psychology and how to channel it effectively
- A track record of developing successful win-win partnerships
