The Director of Sales for GoodHire will provide leadership and mentorship for a team of successful GoodHire Sales Representatives. As a player / coach, the Director of Sales will support team members, manage their pipeline, prioritize activities, up-level their selling acumen and knowledge of our best of breed product, and help to exceed their sales targets. This role is a hands-on sales role that will join forces with our leadership team and work closely with other sales and marketing teams to drive revenue for the company.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing strategic and operational plans for the Omaha sales team in partnership with sales leadership
  • Managing, leading and mentoring a high octane productive team of Sales Representatives
  • Identifying opportunities and establishing rapport with high value customers
  • Innovating and executing on new strategies to increase GoodHire’s market share
  • Mentoring and supporting team members to negotiate and close deals, including working with some high value customers directly
  • Supporting the sales team with pipeline management, contracts, and other business management priorities
  • Defining guidelines for sales enablement in partnership with sales leadership
  • Contributing to go-to-market strategy with other internal business stakeholders and executive leadership across Marketing, Product Management and Engineering
  • Ensure sales systems operate efficiently by recommending changes

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience, preferably in technology or HR sales
  • Personal standard of excellence and integrity
  • History of success leading sales and partnerships
  • Salesforce Experience a plus
  • Analytical approach to sales management
