The Inflection Customer Support team is the voice and touch point to the businesses and consumers we serve. This position responds to advanced inquiries regarding GoodHire, Inflection’s Award Winning Online Background Check Service. Our Customer Support Agents are empowered to do the right thing for the customer, while supporting the vision and principles of the company. The position is expected to complete phone, email and chat inquiries from business clients and general consumers in a timely, precise, and professional manner. Professionalism while complying with FCRA guidelines is key!

Candidates must have excellent written and verbal command of the English Language, the ability to type 40+ wpm, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.

Currently hiring for:
Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm
Base Pay is $14.00/hour, and potential bonus pay up to $350/month. Full Benefits from day ONE!

What You’ll Do…

  • Serve as the single point of resolution for employers, candidates, job seekers, and data providers via phone calls, emails and chats
  • Assist employers, candidates and job seekers with product information and site navigation
  • Understand and adhere to all FCRA compliance laws and regulations applicable to the role
  • Review, analyze and verify employer information to ensure that customers are legitimate businesses in good standing prior to allowing background report purchases on
  • Update employer, candidate, and job seeker information to enable running of reports
  • Make outbound calls to obtain additional information needed to complete background checks
  • Ensure consumer privacy when handling all consumer and data provider requests
  • Use internal systems as instructed and trained
  • Accurately record customer trends using internal tools

  • Attend ongoing internal training and develop knowledge in all areas of the company’s products
  • Accurately record customer trends using internal tools
  • Provide feedback and escalations to management regarding necessary changes and updates; including upgrades, functionality and customer care issues
  • Work assigned shifts
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree or High School diploma with equivalent support services work experience.
  • You must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Strong desire to work to your greatest potential.
  • Open to learning and practicing new processes, freely communicating ideas, and committed to the best end result
  • A spirit to serve those who need support with respect and empathy
  • A strong command of the English language; both written and spoken verbal
  • Direct work experience in dealing with challenging customers, delivering complex messages that address company needs
  • Strong proficiency with the Internet and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
