Financial Analyst

Inflection is on the hunt for a world-class Financial Analyst to accurately forecast, track trends in performance, and identify opportunities for improvement. A leading Big Data and e-commerce company, Inflection has hugely successful and profitable products in the people search and genealogy market spaces boasting millions of monthly unique visitors. Given our rapid expansion, senior management depends heavily on financial planning and analysis to make important strategic decisions.

What you'll do:

• Manage the development of short and long term strategic plans for Inflection, including reconciliation of top-down strategic goals with bottoms-up plans
• Develop, implement, and execute the financial forecasting and reporting processes for the company
• Generate analyses to explain current trends and variances in financial reports
• Perform in-depth financial analysis around specific areas of the business
• Analyze and create key performance indicators (KPIs), providing operational and financial measurement tools for Inflection
• Develop ways to improve performance and efficiency and lower costs through process improvements
• Collaborate with Business Analytics on supporting ad hoc analytics projects
• Work cross functionally on evaluating new strategic business opportunities or investments for growth
• Develop presentations that effectively communicate and summarize an analysis and facilitate decision-making for senior management.

What it takes:
Inflection has a flat organizational structure; you will have complete ownership of your work. An average day may entail rolling up your sleeves to perform more mundane tasks on the same day that you prepare a presentation to our company's executives.

• 2+ years in an analytical role, subscription business experience preferred
• Bachelors degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative orientation, MBA and/or CPA and/or CFA preferred
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
• Experience working as a business partner across all departments
• Superior Excel & PowerPoint skills; working knowledge of statistics and analysis packages; SQL knowledge preferred
• Experienced in presenting analyses to senior management
